SilvrT Posted January 11, 2016 #1 Posted January 11, 2016 I've been thinking about changing my nickname. Been considering ths for quite some time but couldn't come to a decision on what new name I wanted to go by. It finally came to me yesterday while watching a show on TV. My new nickname will be JUAN DURFFLE. How do you like it?

stickhandle2 Posted January 11, 2016 #4 Posted January 11, 2016 looks like a couple of people have alot of time on their hands. just saying.
SilvrT Posted January 11, 2016 Author #5 Posted January 11, 2016 I just learned of a couple others that I'm considering... Terry Wrist Al Kyder ............. on second thought, I think I'll stick to the original one. Yes, while at work I do tend to have a fair amount of "free time" ... not so at home! LOL
Condor Posted January 12, 2016 #6 Posted January 12, 2016 How about 'Nick'??? I think that would be a good name....
Larry1963 Posted January 12, 2016 #7 Posted January 12, 2016 I always thought the nick name came from others and we didn't get to pick it. What we need is someone in every club or motorcycle group that is willing to give nick names. It can be like how the Indians did it. Took the pipe and put some weed in it went to the top of the mountain and smoked the pipe and had visions and come back with a nick name. If or person for giving a nick name is not in a state where weed is legal I guess beer or bourbon would be ok. The problem I see is who are we going to find, that is willing to go and get high or drunk for free, and go off by themselves to give us all nick names. Is there any takers here? LOL

Its probably cause most of these lop eared geezer varmints are in bed snoozing after a long day of being outside playing in the White Wash..

LOL That's all fine and dandy! As long as my better half has no say in picking it!!!!! I know the ones she would suggest wouldn't be allowed on a family site!
mraf Posted January 12, 2016 #13 Posted January 12, 2016 Whats the pay? Is there any climbing involved? Is this a hourly job or comission? How many days off to clear the spinning head? Pension plan? Are there naked people in these visions and if so can the nicknames be used from this? Is there travel involved? Are expences paid? So many questions before a suitable judgemental luminary is picked.

Larry1963 Posted January 12, 2016 #16 Posted January 12, 2016 Shouldn't that be "Mr. Wonderful? As nick names go, I do not have a motorcycle nick name, not sure if that is good or bad. While in the AF my nick name was Doogie, because Doogie Howser was real popular. I know live in a small town, when I first go here I was opening up a bank account, well one day in the bank one of the ladies asked me what the W. stood for in my name. I told here that when I was little my mom thought I was the best and she made my middle name Wonderful. Well before I could get home, it was around town and even put on a marquee in town about Rev. Wonderful..... LOL still a funny joke here. I am a CMA member, but they do not have a CMA where I am at, so I made friends with the Hell Fighters, they went and all grew beards. At 52 I still grow a beard like a teenager, patch here and there. So I normally stay clean shaven, they call me Baby Face. I guess it is fat and clean shaven LOL Larry
Sailor Posted January 13, 2016 #17 Posted January 13, 2016 I was thinking of Mr Wonderful on the Dragons Den. I seem to have acquired the nick name KB which has followed me for years. Kind of boring. At the airport it was "Sarge" I gave myself "Sailor" as it was my vocation and avocation, besides, you have to have a sense of humour when some leather clad biker says " HI Sailor"
Sailor Posted January 13, 2016 #18 Posted January 13, 2016 My wife's nickname is "She Who Must Be Obeyed" but that is kind of cumbersome so we just call her "Hurricane Janet"
SilvrT Posted January 13, 2016 Author #19 Posted January 13, 2016 My wife's nickname is "She Who Must Be Obeyed" but that is kind of cumbersome so we just call her "Hurricane Janet" Nina's nickname is "Yes Dear" ... well, it must be that coz I seem to be saying it a lot!
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted January 14, 2016 #20 Posted January 14, 2016 A plumbing wholesaler I deal with can get pretty busy at times and so the other counter guys will pick up the intercom and call out.....Juan to the counter. After 30 plus years dealing with that place I have never met Juan
