Eck Posted January 5, 2016 #1 Posted January 5, 2016 If my body was a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull...But that's not the worst of it. My headlights are out of focus, And it's especially hard to see things up close. My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather. My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins. It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently. But here's the worst of it. Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter, either My Radiator Leaks or My Exhaust Backfires......
Marcarl Posted January 5, 2016 #3 Posted January 5, 2016 I find that putting on a new set of sneakers often takes the focus off of the rest of the vehicle, also a good massage does wonders for the paint, as for the headlights maybe get a new set of lenses. I've also discovered that putting less coolant in the rad helps with the overflow, and that to fix the exhaust problem,,, well it's best to ignore it altogether, unless it leaves an odor, in which case it won't be so bad if you remember that there is a reason for that as well, and that being that it is for the benefit of those who happened to miss the crackle or wondered what the noise the was.
Flyinfool Posted January 5, 2016 #4 Posted January 5, 2016 I think if my body was a car it would either be on a flatbed on its way to the scrap yard or set out in someones front yard as yard art. After all it just had a wheel fall off which was put back on but it is still flat, the oil pump has issues, and it seem to have a persistent intermittent radiator leak. There also seems to be a short in the computer system cuz something just aint right.
BlueSky Posted January 5, 2016 #5 Posted January 5, 2016 All we can do is keep the weight in check, exercise, and eat reasonably good food and hope for the best. And do what the Doc says.
SilvrT Posted January 5, 2016 #6 Posted January 5, 2016 If my body was a car .... I shoulda been a truck.
camos Posted January 8, 2016 #7 Posted January 8, 2016 If my body was a car .... I shoulda been a truck.Does that mean you are moving again?
Larry1963 Posted January 8, 2016 #8 Posted January 8, 2016 If my body was a car it would now be a Mach truck. I remember when I was young and hearing about the problems of older people thinking never me, I will always eat right, stay in shape. Now that those old folks have now moved to Glory, and we have taken there place I just sit and wonder what happened.
SilvrT Posted January 8, 2016 #9 Posted January 8, 2016 Does that mean you are moving again? ya ... right next door to you!
