Light Bar Spacer

5 Buck Kanuck

Recommended Posts

Here is all I have on the light spacer bracket ( all copied from other information posted on the site):

Note: Slowroll use to make these also beside Bill....

Original bolts are M8x1.25 . (M8's or a 3/8-16 thread)

Need Qty of (2) 3/8" NC x 3/4" long bolts and lock washers. Can get these at any Home Depot.

Use the 8mm bolts to fasten the bracket where the light bar was and then using the 3/8" bolts bolt the light bar to the bracket spacer is drilled and tapped for M8x1.25 bolts, the same as the bolts on the venture.

3/4" thick piece of Aluminum - 4" wide X 2 1/2" deep

Holes to be drilled:

2 on top are 3/8" with the Center to center dimention being 3 1/8" and it will need (2) 8 X 1.25 bolts approx 2" long

The lower 2 holes to be tapped in spacer are 1 5/8" center to center from the top holes.

You can put (2) 3/4" nuts on the back side of each upper bolt to move it fwd 3/4" You can get fancy if you like, but nobody will see it.

Other info copied:

Spacer is drilled andtapped for M8x1.25 bolts, the same as the bolts on the venture. It will comewith 8mm.socket head cap screws that are approx. 40mm. long or about1-3/8". Also with M8x1.25x19 hex head bolts. You should be able to use thestainless bolts that came with the Yamaha mounting bar kit to attach the spacerto the bike.

It will move the lamps outaway from the fairing about 1-3/8" and about 3/4" lower than originalposition. That is with the Yamaha passing lamp setup.

Hope this helps

Eck
