Guest HdHtr Posted January 3, 2016 #1 Posted January 3, 2016 OK. I do not like the new site, one of the reasons I've spent little time on it here but I am trying to get used to it. So how do I find my picture gallery? Or did it migrate from the old site?
Flyinfool Posted January 3, 2016 #2 Posted January 3, 2016 Good question. When I go to add a pic to a thread in the manage attachments I see all of the pics that I have uploaded. But I can not find a way to get to them other than thru manage attachments while writing a new post or replying to a post. More playing is in order.
Freebird Posted January 3, 2016 #3 Posted January 3, 2016 When you add a picture to a thread, it does not get added to any photo gallery. Never was. With this version of the site or the old one. You have to add them to your photo gallery if that is where you want them. As for the old photo gallery getting migrated, some did and some didn't. There were two different photo galleries before. it was confusing. One of them was imported into the new one and the other couldn't be. It just depends upon which one you were using.
Freebird Posted January 3, 2016 #4 Posted January 3, 2016 It's very simple to find your old photo gallery. Just click on "Profile" in the upper right of the page and then scroll down until you see "Albums" in the left menu. An even easier way is to simply click on "User Gallery" under your Username from any post you have made. That being said, I just checked yours HdHtr and it shows that you have none uploaded. That means your old ones were apparently in the old system that didn't get imported. Sorry about that. I did the best I could with it.

If I go to the "VR Gallery" sort by member name and just keep hitting the "NEXT" button I can eventually find the pics that are in my album called "Tools". The gallery search function does not seem to work. On my profile page there is no gallery on the left side and in my posts, under my name they is no gallery option.

At times I go totally insane and think we should move back to California! At least folks like to ride out there. The site, yeah, I do not care too much for the new format and there is no one around here from the site that rides and wants to keep in touch and some other stuff so I just was absent but I did lurk from time to time. Did you know we left North Carolina and went to San Antonio (about 500 feet from Buddy's house ther) for almost 2 years, then came back and we are now thinking of moving back to Texas this summer. I retired the 91 with 250K on it and even got a 08 RSV. Me and Buddy have thought about a remake of VWII in Pahrump again. Think anyone would show up? Be worth coming out just to see you and yours again.
