uncledj Posted January 1, 2016 #1 Posted January 1, 2016 Did the dinner and a movie thing last night before going to a friends for a New Years get together. Saw most of Hateful 8. I couldn't take it. Wife and I walked out 2/3 of the way through. I love most of Tarantino's movies, but this one was a bitter disappointment. Movie drrraaagggeddd on. I asked the wife if she thought it was bad too and she said..."yeah...it sucks". Then there was a point where it got offensive, and we got up and walked out. That's $23 and 2 hours of my time I'll never get back.
friesman Posted January 1, 2016 #2 Posted January 1, 2016 thanks for the heads up i can save some cash.... Brian
slowrollwv Posted January 1, 2016 #3 Posted January 1, 2016 Thanks for the heads up. I can hold off till it comes on Movies on Demand now.
Sleeperhawk Posted January 1, 2016 #5 Posted January 1, 2016 Really don't like his movies, really don't mind blood and guts, but all of his movies usually the same lame plot. Revenge, kill and kill some more.
ragtop69gs Posted January 1, 2016 #6 Posted January 1, 2016 It could have been a 5 star movie, Tarantino lost us as patrons of his movies when he lent his support to the " black lives matter" terrorist/extortion group.

utadventure Posted January 1, 2016 #8 Posted January 1, 2016 Another movie to wait on (forever and ever) is JOY. Lot's of big names......that's about it.
XV1100SE Posted January 1, 2016 #9 Posted January 1, 2016 I remember one movie we walked out on .... "To Live and Die in LA". TERRIBLE movie ! How many different ways someone can be killed. We were guessing how the next person would be killed and walked out.
Goose68 Posted January 1, 2016 #10 Posted January 1, 2016 I have decided I would never watch any of his movies again after he called police officers murderers

GAWildKat Posted January 2, 2016 #13 Posted January 2, 2016 I have never been a fan of his. I like superhero movies. But I remember when Pulp fiction came out, gave me nightmares. I saw enough growing up in the hood to have my taste of violence for life. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
