Bones Posted December 29, 2015 #1 Posted December 29, 2015 I seem to have lost my passenger communication cable and am not sure to where it was connected on the bike. I was wondering if it possible that it was plugged in and can be easily replaced or if I need to look into getting a new one and rewiring it. I am at a loss as to what happened. I assume that it must have gotten loose and was pulled off somehow. Any thoughts would be helpful.

aharbi Posted December 30, 2015 #3 Posted December 30, 2015 An old Personal Computer (PS/2) keyboard extension cable will work. They can be had for like $4/5 dollars.

I think Yamaha sells the cords as a set for around $65 so this would be a much cheaper alternative. Pinwall has a few also if you want to stay stock.
djh3 Posted December 31, 2015 #5 Posted December 31, 2015 I have both ends from building different cables for folks. So if you run out of options PM me.
Bones Posted January 1, 2016 Author #6 Posted January 1, 2016 Thank you all. I am relieved to know I am not going to have to get out my very old soldering iron and make a mess... I will let you know.
