just curious, about what is the ball park figure for having the carbs cleaned and sync.

 

And is a little backfiring on decal normal with stock mufflers on a Royal Star.

200 plus, I would suggest buy a carb synch and run some Seafoam through it.

Could just be a carb sync that you need. I would do that first before you tear into the carbs. (IMHO) I would also run some sea foam through them.

 

I do have an old mercury sync tool. Send me a PM and we will set a date to sync them.

I was quoted $400 for cleaning the 4 carbs on my Kawasaki. I cleaned them myself.
