Flyinfool Posted December 25, 2015 #26 Posted December 25, 2015 See here in Wisconsin, the state passed a law that says any insurance company can not make more than 20% profit or the excess must be returned to their customers through reduced premiums. Last year there were several insurance companies got tagged by the state and had to reduce rates. Boy are there now a lot of really big fancy new insurance co. buildings going up to eat up some profits.
blaine1 Posted December 25, 2015 #27 Posted December 25, 2015 does any one get a break when they insure more than one blaine
Marcarl Posted December 25, 2015 #28 Posted December 25, 2015 Could be about a fire claim someone is trying to collect on so they need to raise the rates on everyone. Out of hear you!!!!! Now you told him and the cat is out of the bag,,,, never mind,,, it's all good!!! Phil, try Dalton Timmes in Ancaster. I found out a few years ago it depends a lot on your agent. I was with a local agent and Kingsway, checked with another agent, come up with a lot better price, so I took it,,,, turned out to be guess who????? yep, Kingsway. I am now insured by Aviva but they have my car as well and that makes a difference I think.
Sailor Posted December 26, 2015 #29 Posted December 26, 2015 A year or two ago there was a scandal about TD misrepresenting car loans and ripping people off. I cannot remember the details now but I will never deal with TD on anything.
