SilvrT Posted December 18, 2015 #2 Posted December 18, 2015 I bet it doesn't have any gear whine either LOL
Larry1963 Posted December 18, 2015 #4 Posted December 18, 2015 I am always amazed at the people that have the ability to build stuff like this. I wish I had it
eusa1 Posted December 18, 2015 #5 Posted December 18, 2015 put that back in your wing before ya break it !!ya goof!!
slowrollwv Posted December 18, 2015 #7 Posted December 18, 2015 put that back in your wing before ya break it !!ya goof!! OK Mike why would you want to put a Harley motor in a wing?
cowpuc Posted December 18, 2015 #9 Posted December 18, 2015 Probably built by some young guy with a LOT of talent who's Dad called him a "little knucklehead" one to many times Way cool Eckster!!
Condor Posted December 19, 2015 #10 Posted December 19, 2015 I know the whole thing and the gear train are amazing workmanship, but the motor looks nakid without the covers. I wonder if it's possible to scan a full sized cover and reduce it to scale in a 3D printer?? It's slow... and I'm bored... :-)
cecdoo Posted December 19, 2015 #11 Posted December 19, 2015 Awesome workmanship, that type of thing always amazes me, wish I had the patience? I have a retired tool and die maker 80 yrs old who lives across the street from me. He worked for Dana his whole life working on huge machinery. He has a full shop in his basement and will only build things small enough to fit in his hand, he builds small engines like that. I always tell him "when I grow up, I want to be just like him" Craig
Yammer Dan Posted December 21, 2015 #14 Posted December 21, 2015 Hey Boss! Better go check the garage!!!

Sargent Royal Venture Posted December 21, 2015 #17 Posted December 21, 2015 You did a great job. Looks like your gem took many hours to design and build. I am very impressed! I have been a model engine enthusiast most of my life. Does your engine run?

Almost a lost art. Its been so long I cain't remember what they taste like. Places to hunt them are pissadearing too. We have quite a few around here but too much junk and people in the way to enjoy hunting them.
