cowpuc Posted December 18, 2015 Share #9 Posted December 18, 2015 Probably built by some young guy with a LOT of talent who's Dad called him a "little knucklehead" one to many times Way cool Eckster!!
Condor Posted December 19, 2015 Share #10 Posted December 19, 2015 I know the whole thing and the gear train are amazing workmanship, but the motor looks nakid without the covers. I wonder if it's possible to scan a full sized cover and reduce it to scale in a 3D printer?? It's slow... and I'm bored... :-)
cecdoo Posted December 19, 2015 Share #11 Posted December 19, 2015 Awesome workmanship, that type of thing always amazes me, wish I had the patience? I have a retired tool and die maker 80 yrs old who lives across the street from me. He worked for Dana his whole life working on huge machinery. He has a full shop in his basement and will only build things small enough to fit in his hand, he builds small engines like that. I always tell him "when I grow up, I want to be just like him" Craig

Almost a lost art. Its been so long I cain't remember what they taste like. Places to hunt them are pissadearing too. We have quite a few around here but too much junk and people in the way to enjoy hunting them.
