Built the new outhouse

The old outhouse up at the cabin lasted 25 yrs, but all good things must come to an end, so I built a new one.

Pics of the new outhouse, and the gang up the camp for buck season.....just wish there were still deer to hunt.

Saw more elk than deer.

Saw two deer first day, a nervous ? 6 point and a doe. The buck must've been lost to be in that county.

And even having it heated,,,, I guess that was a demand item.

That's actually my niece. The cooks are me (yellow smiley pants) and my older brother (far right).

Outhouse is heated and custom ventilated. Absolutely no odor. I used a small combustion blower off a rooftop hvac unit to draw air in through the seat, so NOTHING escapes into outhouse,....all stinky is blown up and away. Heck, folks may want to hang out in there.

Fancy looking crapper. Good job. Hard to tell from the last pic but if you use the place when it's cool out, you'll know that it's no treat to have to sit down on that cold toilet seat. Take a piece of styrofoam rigid insulation, cut out a hole big enough to accommodate your backside and use that for your seat. Toasty warm every time no matter how cold outside it gets. Doug

Hokey spamokey Unc, thats no outhouse - that there is Chalet that just happens to be self contained!! Deer probably all moved out thinking a high end custom builder was starting a subdivision.. Let you in on a little secret, Deer are very very smart - the best way to be guarenteed you will see em is to just poopy in the woods - make sure you place your rifle just out of reach of where your gonna squat, get going potty and they will come out in droves!!!! Now if you wanna shoot one too you do that same thing only carry a handgun hidden in a shoulder harness where they cant see it when your going:missingtooth:
