cowpuc Posted December 7, 2015 #1 Posted December 7, 2015 Sunday morning 74 years ago and all our lives were changed. A monster with an evil heart, and intentions so deranged. The Harbor's light was dimmed and hurt, as the monster had decreed. The Arizona still lies there, her tears of oil they still bleed. The human loss hurt most of all, Two Thousand And Forty Three gone. The monster grinned and thought he'd won, but brother he was wrong! He forgot about what free men do, when their backed against the wall. It probably never occurred to him, the hammer of justice was about to fall. Our nation arose together, and linked arms with those abroad. To show the world around us, our love of freedom is no fraud. A heartfelt thanks to all of you who served our nation proud. Your love of country and freedom's cause, is still understood both clear and loud. Puc
Guest divey Posted December 8, 2015 #3 Posted December 8, 2015 I visited the Site for the first time in September. It is an amazing place to visit and reflect. A veteran of that day was there signing books. Doug
