Oldodge Posted December 7, 2015 #1 Posted December 7, 2015 The temperature reached into the low 50's here today after starting out with freezing fog. I got an impromptu December RSV ride in. I was working in the garage and when I put the door up it was nice out. So I did what any PMS (parked motorcycle syndrome) sufferer would do and went for a quick ride. No salt on the roads here yet, quite surprisingly. I rode about a half hour and it felt great to get out, time constraints kept me from a longer ride. I cherish days like today. Also would be remiss if I did not say thanks to all of our military members, past, present and future, on this historic day. "December 7th, 1941, a date that shall live in infamy". It is through their sacrifice that I am free.
etcswjoe Posted December 7, 2015 #2 Posted December 7, 2015 Was in the 70's here this weekend, spent it replacing breaks on the car. Glad you were able to get a ride in might keep those winter blues off a couple more weeks.
GeorgeS Posted December 7, 2015 #3 Posted December 7, 2015 (edited) A December ride ?? Hmmm , well last nite about 8:30 PM. I was driving from Ocean Shores, Wa. back to Seattle. As I was getting into car , to get back onto highway, I hear, Guess What ?? A motorcycle comeing bye heading west thru the Stormy , Raining, Cold, Nite !!! Some brave soul, out for a ride Ha Ha Well, I hope he made it to wherever he was going , Edited December 8, 2015 by GeorgeS
bostonlawman2003 Posted December 7, 2015 #4 Posted December 7, 2015 I did the same thing yesterday here, it was mid 50's and sunny. A beautiful day for a ride. Got about an hour in the saddle before it was time to return home. It was just what I needed! Hoping for many more days like this between now and March when she usually comes out of hibernation.
steamer Posted December 7, 2015 #5 Posted December 7, 2015 Also got in a short ride yesterday. We only rode about 60 miles, but this is the first time we have ever ridden in December. usually buried in snow this time of year here in central NY.
