M61A1MECH Posted January 4, 2016 #26 Posted January 4, 2016 Senior officers were OK, LC and above, it was those junior officers you had to watch out for, I always heard the that the most frightening thing to the Army guys was a Second Lieutenant with a map in his hands.

Dion, Now that you sweetened the pot with airplanes how can I resist? Actually I am in a bit of a holding pattern, the wife is going in for cataract surgery in he morning. It should be routine, but if anything goes sideways, I will have to stick around the house.

gez Posted January 21, 2016 #41 Posted January 21, 2016 Darn, missing another one. I have to attend a mandatory Elks Clinic in Belle Glade. Depending on weather, I should get about a hundred miles in the wind.
Yammer Dan Posted January 22, 2016 #42 Posted January 22, 2016 (edited) I'm thinking of going to bed in Jan. Edited January 22, 2016 by Yammer Dan

djh3 Posted January 23, 2016 #45 Posted January 23, 2016 WOW Looks like the guys with heated seats and grips get to use them on the trip.
Brake Pad Posted January 23, 2016 #46 Posted January 23, 2016 its the 1/2 mil wet suits that really keep us warm......and NO !!!! we don't pee in them while riding our Bikes..... Only Diving:7_6_3[1]:
tufftom4 Posted January 23, 2016 Author #47 Posted January 23, 2016 I have no heated anything and my radio took a dump so no tunes.
M61A1MECH Posted January 23, 2016 #48 Posted January 23, 2016 Well my heated grips and seat worked just fine to counteract the cold, but I got nothing to counteract that wind we had today. Good choice Tom, good food good folks, not so good ride, but it was better than no ride.
tufftom4 Posted January 23, 2016 Author #49 Posted January 23, 2016 The wind beat me up and it was chilly but good food and good friends, for me it was 175 miles round trip.I enjoyed seeing everyone again.
Brake Pad Posted January 24, 2016 #50 Posted January 24, 2016 Karen and I made it back to south Florida. Once we passed the lake, we lost some of the wind as we came along side of the lower portion of the lake, as we rode spurs the winds started to die down, we made if back in 2.5 hours
