rowdy7 Posted November 26, 2015 #1 Posted November 26, 2015 Well I have been Ventureless for 4 months now. After I sold it I missed the big bruiser/cruiser and about a month later I bought a nice low mileage '08 (7700mi) Ultra Classic Anniversary Edition. It has been 50 years since I owned a Harley and I figured I needed to own 1 more while I can still ride. I really enjoyed the 6 years with the RSV. It is a grand old bike, really fit me well and will be missed as will this forum and the great people on it. Y'all the Best. Happy Thanksgiving to All and Ride Safe. Jim My new Ride.
BigLenny Posted November 26, 2015 #2 Posted November 26, 2015 Wow! That's a gorgeous bike! But, who the heck gave you permission to leave this forum??? Dude, you oughta know by now, the is like Hotel California. Stay, and give us the experiences of owning and riding your new ride. Happy Thanksgiving.
etcswjoe Posted November 26, 2015 #3 Posted November 26, 2015 Nice ride, seems more folks are going to other bikes so no need to go anywhere else.
SilvrT Posted November 26, 2015 #4 Posted November 26, 2015 Nice ride, seems more folks are going to other bikes so no need to go anywhere else. Ditto! I went from an RSMV to a Wing to a Victory and I'm still here ... this forum is an addiction!
Freebird Posted November 26, 2015 #5 Posted November 26, 2015 I don't know. It IS a Harley.....are they really welcome here?
Yammer Dan Posted November 26, 2015 #6 Posted November 26, 2015 I owned my most recent Hardley in 73 I think. I didn't say my last...... A 56 Pan with a completely Hardtail frame Raked 46 degrees extended 16 inches with a Grundy Twisted tube front. No exposed wiring . I drilled the frame and fished it all thru frame. Headlight and taillight was all. No front brake. King/Queen with 30 inch Sissy Bar. Candy Apple Red with Gold Metalflake. Ladies would fight for the rear seat. You could feel every crack in the road with that Hardtail. It was Awlsome!!

Hope ya get many many miles of fun out of it AND that you stick around to give us some awesome reports about all that fun!! THANK YOU for the pics brother!!
cowpuc Posted November 26, 2015 #8 Posted November 26, 2015 I don't know. It IS a Harley.....are they really welcome here? I say definitely they are more then welcome, loved and WANTED around here,, as long as their not of the 2013 Road Glide personality, that particular breed is just to much of show off to be tolerated
cowpuc Posted November 26, 2015 #10 Posted November 26, 2015 Hey Boss,, speaking about Harley's, have you ever thought about adding a Harley Tech Talk area to the forums? Getting to be a lot of our brothers/sisters riding HD's these days - I think it would be fun to have a Harley section..
steamer Posted November 26, 2015 #11 Posted November 26, 2015 Oh heck Cowpuc, an HD tech talk wouldn't take much. Just two sentences..... Wipe up oil on garage floor after each ride and collect parts that fell off, from all your rsv friends that followed you home to make sure you made it back.
SilvrT Posted November 26, 2015 #12 Posted November 26, 2015 Ladies would fight for the rear seat. You could feel every crack in the road with that Hardtail. ummmmmmmm .... do I dare type what I'm thinkin here...
Freebird Posted November 27, 2015 #14 Posted November 27, 2015 Oh heck Cowpuc, an HD tech talk wouldn't take much. Just two sentences..... Wipe up oil on garage floor after each ride and collect parts that fell off, from all your rsv friends that followed you home to make sure you made it back. LOL...now that's just MEAN. Somebody has to pick up my chrome.
SilvrT Posted November 27, 2015 #15 Posted November 27, 2015 I think having a HD Tech talk forum is a BAD idea .... coz it wouldn't take long before it got so full it would eat up gobs of server space and resources and bring this whole forum down....
djh3 Posted November 28, 2015 #16 Posted November 28, 2015 I think the gold color is kind of neat. Don't see a lot of bikes that color. Local (sort of) Victory dealer has a nice looking Cross country touring in a cool color you dont see much either. I think that's kind of why I like it. Its called Bronze mist http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/ba/81/5b/ba815bdce6f7090b418ce7f6db3bfee5.jpg
