djh3 Posted November 21, 2015 #3 Posted November 21, 2015 While plugging a tire is convenient, IMOP its a "temp fix". The tire really needs to patched. I have plugged hundreds probably of car/truck tires. But only having 2 wheels I would like to fix it with a patch when I had the opportunity.
Barrycuda Posted November 21, 2015 #4 Posted November 21, 2015 Plugging a MC tire IMO should be just a temp fix to be off the stranded road or interstate or roads where there is no safe way to have it patched or checked out. I know in Florida some of the roads are desolate and you'd be waiting a while for some road assistance. It is nice to know how to do. Have the regular strips but also have dyna plugs http://www.dynaplug.com.
