tlm Posted November 9, 2015 #1 Posted November 9, 2015 I have a 2002 RSMV. The petcock has started leaking when I put it on reserve. I noticed it weeping a little a couple of months ago but didn't think too much about it since I rarely switch to reserve. I had to switch coming home tonight and when I came in the house I smelled like I took a gas bath. Can I replace the seals or do I need to replace the petcock? Thanks in advance.
Ace Posted November 9, 2015 #2 Posted November 9, 2015 Yes you can rebuild it. If you stop at any Yamaha dealer they should have the parts as that same petcock was used on many, many models for many years. Very easy to rebuild..
