BIG TOM Posted November 3, 2015 #1 Posted November 3, 2015 Haven't been on here for a while. I do check you guys and gals out about once a week. So much going on in my life lately. Had to buy 2 vehicles because ours were seeing better days. Picked up a couple of Jeeps for Taters and myself , figured I better before winter sets in. With that being done, I am working on getting ready for winter which is coming soon. Keeping up the falling leaves off my Maples in the yard is a never ending job this time of year . My daughter bought the house next door and although it is nice to have her close by, I seem to have a lot more company lately....lol Went back to hunting deer with the bow this year after taking a break for a few years and I'm beginning to think I'm getting too old to be climbing trees and freezing my butt off in the rain and cold.. Lately all I can think of while I am up there is of all the leftover chores I should be doing.. I have to get my firewood ordered and delivered and stacked up soon...Cleaned out my garage so I can get 3 chord piled in there, but it doesn't look to hopeful at this point.. I have a 2 1/2 care garage and it is full to the brim with priceless treasures..lol I cant even fit one car in there any more.... Well, being off from work today I decided to work on a few of those little nagging jobs...clean out the fireplace chimney and fireplace, run a few errands around town, pay some bills, get the dogs nails trimmed, install a new filter in the furnace and the list goes on and on....But instead of getting to it ..WHAT AM I DOING..YEP, SITTING ON THE DUTTER LOL... LOVE AND MISS YOU BUNCH OF MISFITS....

One of these days we are going to have to come out that way to pick up what Jonas left there for me. So finish up those chores and enjoy the warm weather while you can, cause it ain't gonna last!

BIG TOM Posted November 3, 2015 Author #7 Posted November 3, 2015 I'm sorry.....any items left here after 30 days was sold to the highest bidder at my annual ICELANDIC STUFF LEFT HERE auction....I had 6 totes of items this year including a low mileage slightly used touring bike...I made a fortune.... Looks like I may get to retire after all...

Trying to stay on top of it before the Fool sends the other stuff falling from the sky. Beginning to feel a little like Henny Penny - the ol the sky is falling - the sky is falling routine. Last check I got from Alden New York and took it to the bank to cash - the lady behind the counter said she could not cash it cause the finger print area on the check looked like the print in it was made of some kind of ice cream instead of ink..
Yama Mama Posted November 5, 2015 #24 Posted November 5, 2015 We have been raking and mulching here at our place too. Plus we are putting up new gutters. Had to paint the trim first. We are lucky the weather this week has been so nice, but we know how that will be changing soon. Never enough time is there. Nice that your daughter lives so close however. Ours live across the border in Indiana, and the other is now in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. Yama Mama
