Flyinfool Posted October 28, 2015 #4 Posted October 28, 2015 But the best way to summerize your bike is to move to Wisconsin....... Cuz we all know it is to hot to ride in the summer down there.

slowrollwv Posted October 28, 2015 #7 Posted October 28, 2015 I don't have that problem here in WV. of winterizing the bike. I have had it out at least one day a month since I have owned it.
KIC Posted October 28, 2015 Author #8 Posted October 28, 2015 Hey , you are just down the street from me. I am visiting my son in Martinsburg until Sunday.
cowpuc Posted October 28, 2015 #9 Posted October 28, 2015 Then I get arrested......... Not if ya smear ice cream all over yourself and then roll around on the desert floor before you take off on your scoot!!

djh3 Posted October 29, 2015 #12 Posted October 29, 2015 Enough said.... Well I was kind of thinking Fla.
Skid Posted October 29, 2015 #13 Posted October 29, 2015 I live in West Virginia and still get to ride every month. No winterizing here
Karaboo Posted October 29, 2015 #14 Posted October 29, 2015 I just switch to a mode of transportation that doesn't need roads. Nothing like travelling at 40+ mph through the woods or 70+ over the cow pastures.
Howard B Posted October 30, 2015 #15 Posted October 30, 2015 Since we have been given two options for winterizing, Arizona or Florida, we only have to examine one thing. Arizona has no overabundance of bugs. Every obnoxious bug ever discovered was discovered in Florida. I rest my case.
SilvrT Posted October 30, 2015 #16 Posted October 30, 2015 Not if ya smear ice cream all over yourself and then roll around on the desert floor before you take off on your scoot!! spoken from experience no doubt ...
SilvrT Posted October 30, 2015 #17 Posted October 30, 2015 Heck, I live in Canada and here on the "Wet" coast, there's rarely a month goes by that doesn't allow us to ride, if even for a day. There's several folks who ride almost every day around here except when it snows, which usually doesn't last longer than a week, if it snows at all. That said, I generally stop riding around mid October and the earliest I've gone for a ride after the New Year is late January so I do tend to do some winterizing by filling the tank and adding a can of Seafoam. I'll generally start and run the bike at least once every couple weeks or so ... maybe do a short run around the block a couple times. The temps don't go below zero very often around here.
Ozlander Posted October 30, 2015 #18 Posted October 30, 2015 What's this Winterize your Bike thing that you speak of?
tlm Posted October 30, 2015 #19 Posted October 30, 2015 It's almost like our little forum here has been taken over by aliens. They are speaking a language totally unknown to me.
