XV1100SE Posted October 23, 2015 #1 Posted October 23, 2015 From forecasts of rain for Texas and the hurricane coming into Mexico today.... lots of flood warnings for Texas for the weekend. Hope our Texas members stay safe !
SapperMedic Posted October 23, 2015 #2 Posted October 23, 2015 Watching out the window now, looks kinda ominous, but the weather service said tomorrow and Sunday will be the worst. It was raining hard enough earlier that my wife said there were neighbor kids wakeboarding down the main street of our subdivision.....and it is long and sloped.
cowpuc Posted October 24, 2015 #3 Posted October 24, 2015 Yep,, thoughts and Prayers Up for all you rascals down yonder!! Seen a deal on the late news here about it,, something about Dallas getting hit hard already and the worst storm to hit the western hemisphere in recorded history has just hit down in Mexico and is headed that way:scared:.. I know @bikerjohn and family are in Round Rock, not to far from Dallas... You folks ok down there my Texas Hero?? My other Texas Hero @Squidley and that bunch aren't that far away from Dallas either,, wassup Brad? Anything we can do you guys?? Gotta be others, thoughts and Prayers Up for all involved!!
Squidley Posted October 25, 2015 #4 Posted October 25, 2015 Thanks for thinking of us Don & Puckster! All is good, as was seen, the hurricane broke up going through the mountains in Mexico. Were getting some much needed soaking rain here in Cleveland, not a hurricane. Life is good here and were good....Thanks Buddy!
van avery Posted October 25, 2015 #5 Posted October 25, 2015 We are about 60 miles SW of Houston and got a little over 8" in the rain gauge . Hopefully it will close up the cracks in the yard. We needed the rain but might have been better if it all didn't come so quick, most of it soaked in. But do have a nice pond in the back yard.
