Private Message notification thingy working part time..

Last night one of our members was trying to get ahold of me about a problem he was having with his bike. He sent me a PM while I was sloshing around in the Water Hole but I didnt get a PM notification - thankfully he was wise enough to give me a quick call on the landline and, I think (havent heard back as to whether or not we for sure figured it out) we got his situation hammered out.. He did PM again later to thank me for helping him and I did get a notification on that PM.. @Flyinfool and I began a series of PM's to test the notifications (thanks Jeff) after I got into my settings and checked to be sure everything was in order there - all looked good.. It appears that I am getting a notification on every other PM.. Like most gear heads,, intermittent problems drive me bonkers. Wondering if anyone has heard of a virus or something that is designed to cause such an issue or maybe I missed a setting somewhere that sets my puter to notify on a part time basis?

Maybe we should have a PM party just to see if anyone else is having this issue, misery loves company ya know:big-grin-emoticon:

I'm not ignoring this thread folks but haven't had tie to look into it. Long days right now at a trade show. I will look into this but it will probably be next week. I actually have a software update to do here that I've been putting off. Just bug fixes and etc. Maybe that will take care of it. Will get it done soon.
