I know that is old. I don't remember who was the first to post that.

2013 Yamaha Super Tenere. I have been wanting one for a while and they have finally gotten into the price range I was happy with. 38,000 miles. I believe that people that miss the first generation Venture would like this bike. Even though it is only a 2 cylinder it is very powerful and smooth.

Nice I have been thinking of getting one of these for a second bike, I have to drive on a lot of dirt roads for my job.

Damn I am jealous. I bought my Vstrom last May. Although I really like it, I also really like the Super Tenere and have been lusting after that or the KTM 1190 or 1290. The one thing I wish the Tenere had was non spoked rims. I know they are better for off road, but also require another maintenance item. Once again, I am jealous. Nice bike!

Even though they are spoked wheels they are tubeless. That makes a patch job a lot easier out away from home.

I remember VR member Miles, a couple of years ago, posting quite an adventure he and a friend had from Oregon to lower South America and back. He bought a Tenere just for the trip (and sold it when done).

Seems like it can take you,,, anywhere,,, good, bad or ugly (like his story).
