Motorcycle Mike Posted October 7, 2015 #1 Posted October 7, 2015 Take a look at this. http://www.cycletrader.com/dealers/Pony-Powersports-Group-2926242/listing/2007-Yamaha-XVZ13-ROYAL-STAR-VENTURE-TRIKE-115895130
Hummingbird Posted October 7, 2015 #2 Posted October 7, 2015 wish I had room to store it - in the spring it'll be a $12K to $!3K bike.
bongobobny Posted October 7, 2015 #5 Posted October 7, 2015 The conversion alone cost more than the asking price!! This is a super deal!!!
WildBill1 Posted October 7, 2015 #6 Posted October 7, 2015 I don't care for 3 wheelers but I got too check this out.
Yammer Dan Posted October 7, 2015 #7 Posted October 7, 2015 (edited) Man that is sharp!! Not much info but it looks like it has the Easy Steer extra Rake?? I wish I had seen it a couple wks ago. You know how fast things can change. The guy next door is moving and the Warden thought that would make her place ( I just live here) so much better to include all that extra grass to mow. Funds getting a lot tighter. I did ask for more info on it...... Edited October 7, 2015 by Yammer Dan
Motorcycle Mike Posted October 7, 2015 Author #8 Posted October 7, 2015 I don't care for 3 wheelers but I got too check this out. I didn't think I would care for a trike either but I was wrong. The RSV/Hannigan makes a great trike. It handles really, really good and is alot of fun. We do miss leaning in the curves tho. When faced with not being able to bring my bride along with me or just not ride, the decision got real easy.
WildBill1 Posted October 7, 2015 #9 Posted October 7, 2015 Oh I wouldn't want to ride I would flip and make a couple grand. When I can't ride on two Ill go the sports car route.
CaptainJoe Posted October 7, 2015 #10 Posted October 7, 2015 I'm betting 10K would take it now... Screw the property, mowing grass sux...
cecdoo Posted October 7, 2015 #11 Posted October 7, 2015 Anybody close enough to take a look at it? If Dan aint interested, I just mite be. Craig
Condor Posted October 7, 2015 #12 Posted October 7, 2015 Finally someone with a trike priced to sell.....
Mike G in SC Posted October 7, 2015 #13 Posted October 7, 2015 That is a really low price for a 2007. I am probably going to get a trike in spring (maybe before). But I think I want to go with a Goldwing 1800. When we were at STAR Days in Colorado, a GW was leading up a mountain and a RSV trike was tail. The GW walked away, the RSV dropped way back, 1800 POWER. Anyone got a line on a good Goldwing trike. Prefer 2010-2012.
slowrollwv Posted October 8, 2015 #14 Posted October 8, 2015 I looked at the pic a couple times. Something is wrong with the lowers. Look how far they are from the wind deflectors and you can see the electrical parts behind the fairing. I do not think the fairing should be that far forward.

From what I can see, everything looks ok. but with only 3 pictures its hard to tell the true condition. It is priced about $5k lower then any I have ever seen for sale, and I'm looking all the time. Only one way to know...someone needs to look at it.
Yammer Dan Posted October 8, 2015 #16 Posted October 8, 2015 I'm betting 10K would take it now... Screw the property, mowing grass sux... Done made the deal. I guess she is happy. I have listened to her for a while on this. I told her she got what she wanted so no whining when "Silver" rolls out the door.
CaptainJoe Posted October 8, 2015 #17 Posted October 8, 2015 (edited) Good move Dan! I'm going fishing on the Williams River in a couple weeks with Ron Keefer (fishing bud). If you want, your invited... My kerosene heater and a bunkhouse with a 10x10 add on room is downright toasty! It will be on the first Monday and Tuesday they stock this month... just bring a cot and sleeping bag... Maybe you could talk Skid into coming... There's more than enough room for two or three more! Motorcycle Mike Posted October 8, 2015 Author #18 Posted October 8, 2015 Oh I wouldn't want to ride I would flip and make a couple grand. When I can't ride on two Ill go the sports car route. A common misconception. You'd have to try very hard to flip most trikes. I guess we ride for differant reasons. I'm keeping my knees in the breeze as long as I can.
billmac Posted October 8, 2015 #19 Posted October 8, 2015 When you picking it up? :cool10::guitarist 2:
DragonRider Posted October 8, 2015 #20 Posted October 8, 2015 When he says flip it, he means to resell it at a profit, not flip over........................... A common misconception. Motorcycle Mike Posted October 8, 2015 Author #21 Posted October 8, 2015 When he says flip it, he means to resell it at a profit, not flip over........................... I went back and re-read it. I guess I'm used to people asking me about stability. Thanks for setting me straight.
cecdoo Posted October 8, 2015 #22 Posted October 8, 2015 Nice snag Dan she looks like a beauty!! Hope it helps get you back in the wind. Craig
cowpuc Posted October 8, 2015 #23 Posted October 8, 2015 Nice snag Dan she looks like a beauty!! Hope it helps get you back in the wind. Craig Unless I missed something here,, it appears to me that Dan O' has a "done deal" on keeping the Warden grinning by getting some more grass to mow instead of buying another scoot (including this trike) and that good ol Silver is going to still be around as Dan's steed. That Yammer, he does a good job of following the code, Article 14, Section 139.77A,, and I read my fellow lop eared varmints: "If mama aint happy, aint no "buddy" happy".. Please correct if I missed something here:thumbsup: On another note, wish I were closer cause I would gladly take a peek for ya'll..
cecdoo Posted October 8, 2015 #24 Posted October 8, 2015 Ok, Now I am confused?? Happens alot. Is this Trike fair game or did Dan buy it? If its fair game, is anyone close enough to check it out? Thanks, Craig
