cowpuc Posted October 2, 2015 #1 Posted October 2, 2015 My good friend, neighbor and fellow VR member, @bluestar99, is a pretty normal varmint.. Like myself and probably most of you, Blue has a bucket list of things he would like to experience in life. I never knew this but apparently riding Crud was one of them.. Ding dong went the doorbell early this morning (watch the video - I think I mentioned the time of day that Ron woke me up ). Tippy yells, its our neighbors on their bike!! A little chit chat and Bluestar was like,, well,, where's Crud? The perfect start to a perfect day!!
mirider Posted October 2, 2015 #2 Posted October 2, 2015 Wow, who would have thunk Ron was one of the "Wild Bunch" :stickpoke:Guess I just didn't picture him an OP like the Pucster The way he wound it out leaving has me wondering if he came back :confused07:
bluestar99 Posted October 2, 2015 #3 Posted October 2, 2015 Thank you Scott for the opertunity to ride that rocket ship. It was something that I wanted to ride for a long time. It brought tears to my eyes. It may have just been the wind at that speed or the shear joy of the ride. You may have named it Crud but I think it went way beyound its name. Vicki and I had a great visit with you two.
bluestar99 Posted October 2, 2015 #4 Posted October 2, 2015 Hey Mirider What is an "op like Puc mean"? I guess if it means I am a little crazy like Puc then it is an honor:bowdown: Oh by the way I had to come back. It was on reserve. We went and filled up the bikes when I got back. Wowzeewow that was a wild ride at least for Puc on that Crud Rocket.
cowpuc Posted October 3, 2015 Author #6 Posted October 3, 2015 ALWAYS great to see you folks Ron, also MY PLEASURE on the Crud ride brother!! Obsolete Pain:think: Obsessive Peashooter:think: Old Peabrain:think: Odorsome Popcicle:think: Ok Person:680:Owie Perpetrator:doh: Where the heck is that @etcswjoe (think OP is a rough one Ron, try to figure Joe's code name out - he even told me what it was one time and I still over it) when ya need em,, he is an EXPERT at being a VR code talker - and pretty dog gone good "lost Puc n Tippy" rescuer too - mans a walking compass I tell ya:backinmyday:
etcswjoe Posted October 3, 2015 #8 Posted October 3, 2015 OP = Outside Parameters You can just say it he's a nut , however he is in good company . I am curious how many hours was he gone on Crud?
cowpuc Posted October 3, 2015 Author #9 Posted October 3, 2015 You can just say it he's a nut , however he is in good company . I am curious how many hours was he gone on Crud? Blue's ride didnt last very long Joe,,, its a good thing to because just after I clicked off on the video it occurred to me that I had put Crud on reserve yesterday and forgot to tell Ron that he only had about 10 minutes of run time,, 3 if he kept the ol boy wicked up:big-grin-emoticon:
billmac Posted October 3, 2015 #10 Posted October 3, 2015 Early this morning is noon? those 11:00am meets must have put you in a coma. bluestar could have come back two hours later and just say he ran out of gas and had to push a bunch of crud to the gas station cause you was half awake and didn't know the difference.

BUT,, the whole time he was gone he would have been ,, I left my gorgeous 99 Blue RSV sitting in Pucs driveway - Tweeks is sitting there talking to Puc about how bad she needs a new motor, forks, seat, frame, brakes, plugs, tires, bags, trunk and gas too.. Bill,, ya gotta remember,, your ol buddy Pucster was one of those strange kids that grew up taking the little jingle below to heart!!
billmac Posted October 3, 2015 #12 Posted October 3, 2015 you forgot the extra woman at the house to. Bluestar maybe thinking a venture and the wife was to much for a max.
mirider Posted October 3, 2015 #13 Posted October 3, 2015 Thanks Mirider. I think? All good brother, an out of paramaters kind of guy is definitely my cup of tea ! Makes life interesting........
rbig1 Posted October 5, 2015 #14 Posted October 5, 2015 if you retire tweaks. Put it in a museum like the one in Anamosa Iowa. They don't have any Yamaha ventures and a ton of wings.

Sounds good @rbig1,, only the Curator at the museum would be like,,, lets see here:think:, do we place this thing in the "I LOVE America" section , in the extinct wild animal section:think:, the sticker art section:think:, the outdoor survival section:think:, at the front door and use it as a sign in registry:think:.. They certainly would never put Tweeks in the motorcycle section next to all those gorgeous extra clean examples of touring bikes of yesteryear
