COOL ZZzzzzz!!! Lookout @Marcarl ,, the Japs are hot on your heels brother! :bikersmilie:

Looks like quite a contraption,,, hey - wait a second here,, didnt I read somewhere that Mother Yamaha has one too - or is working on one.. If so - Mom Yam probably sold us, waiting for the new Venture group, out to chase down that market :witch_brew:..

I wonder if they intentionally tried to make it look like the face of a "Decepticon" or something from those recent "Transformers" movies:

I'd feel like I was riding around on "Megatron's" head or something....

I must be getting just too old because I don't like that "thrown together from a bunch of left over pieces" look at all...yuck.

I'd take the look of the 80's/90's bike bodywork over that any day. If that's what's "in" these days, call me an old fogey and out of step. I could care less.

YMMV....

the Yamaha sells very well in Asia now but it is a little underpowered at only 125cc. It is a leaner and they say a blast to ride. Piaggio's MP3 sells very well in Europe and I think it comes in verious sizes up to a 500cc. They tried to sell it here but pulled out after 3 years. I have heard that Toyota is working on a leaner also. I would keep my Spyder RT for my wife and I and get something like the Honda just for me. I would ride it like a borrowed horse, fun fun fun

I don't like the bodywork. Looks to me like something a 10 year old came up with. No flowing lines or pleasing shapes. Too many flat surfaces and creases.

This probably sounds wayyy crazy but I will say it anyway... I was an AVID snowmobiler for many years (with the Fool across the pond, a person best find something fun to do with all that Wisconsin White Wash :big-grin-emoticon:).. I watched as the sled industry went to "rider forward" in sled design. Ski-Doo came out with, what I called a "stealth bomber look" about them shortly after they went rider forward. Being an old school sled guy ( I LOVED my Arctic Cat 1000cc Thunder Cats and Ski-Mach Z's) it took a while to get use to the "look" of the new model sleds. Being an avid dirtbiker though, it didnt take long at ALL to really enjoy the whole "rider forward" idea - the new sleds encouraged the rider to stand up on the boards and ride it like a dirt bike = FUN!!

Here's the crazy part, I TOTALLY see modern day snowmobile written all over these machines.. It looks like a snowmobile with wheels.. That said,, it also looks like it could be a ton of FUN!! Anybody else spend any time on snowmobiles and see what I am talking about?

I don't care for the hard lines of the black and white colors or the trying to make it look like a stealth F117 fighter with all of the faceted edges.

IF I was old enough to be looking at a trike, I do not think this would be it.
