1rst Gen pipes

Can the baffles in the stock pipes (83)be drilled? I would like a better tone, but do not want to buy pipes at this time. If they can, has anyone done it and do you like the tone? I dont want an obnoxious tone, just some more "bark"

I punched ./ mine out with a piece of 3/4 rebar.

much better sound. not loud. She sounds goood about 5.k. !! big hammer--- an done.!!

There are 3 ? plates to go through.

My 84 sounds good.I cut that baffle groove off with a hack saw. Punched out the center and add drilled holes as needed. The more the deeper tone.Sounds good in the riders seat and still listen to tunes but those second gens behind me complain.
