Passing Light Bar

Has anyone put one of these on their Venture? I really want more light for night riding, but I can't bring myself to spend the money for the Yamaha part. Like the looks of these, and the price is certainly right, but I really want to see what they look like on a RSV before I pull the trigger.

I installed three sets of lights like these. One set on my RSV and (2) other sets on other members RSV's. They do help see better at night, but I don't ride at night anymore unless I really have to..

Just google for a pic of something like 2005 yamaha RSV. Probably 40% of the pics will show light bars on the front. Now as far as that particular bar quality, workmen ship etc I cant say. I have heard past guys say the chrome wasnt long lasting on the china made ones. As far as the lighting goes, thats going to all depend on what you select to put in there. From the $8 each incandescent sealed beam to the close to $300 LED trucklite jobs.

What bothers me about the add is they say there are two driving lights and two turn signals included. If I read down in the full description. Plastic lights and all~!

EWW maybe not so good. Temp fix maybe and shop around for the spot lights. There are plenty of the 4.5 light housing for sale. As long as they would be rmovable down the road.
