Unforgotten Riders

Does anyone know anything about the http://unforgotten-riders.org/? They are having a fund raising ride through northern Illinios on Sept.13th. It sounds like a worthy cause but there are so many causes out there it is hard to tell which ones are truly legit.

Hello, i was researching Unforgotten-Riders this morning because i received a text that the website was updated and by accident i stumbled upon this question that you had written and it made me smile. To see that people have interest in the charity that my husband and I founded. We started this charity 1 year ago this month, for the soul purpose to help other riders in an emergency, we are a 501c3 not-for-profit charity, we are even tax deductable, and we have no paid volunteers, we do this becauae we enjoy riding and so do so many others such as yourself. We are completely legit. We have some awesome sponsers and supporters out there. But in the end we need more riders such as yourself to question and learn what we are all about. We need backing from the riding community so we can raise money to assist riders when an emergency arises. We are open to any questions you have. Please feel free to call or email with any other questions. We are based out of beach park il, and our upcoming event is going to be our second event this year. At the beginning of august we assisted a family that was affected by a motorcycle accident. We paid some of their bills, bought the gentleman some ensure (he still can't eat solids), and did some yard work. We are always looking for additional volunteers if you would be i terested in learning more of what we do. Thank you, Shawna
