Mad Dog Posted August 27, 2015 #1 Posted August 27, 2015 Hi all, I had one of these go out the other night on my 2006 RSV. Not sure I know how they come apart to test and fix ... actually I'm pretty sure I have no idea how they come apart. Any help would be appreciated. TIA
SilvrT Posted August 27, 2015 #2 Posted August 27, 2015 Looks to me like they are "clipped" in on top and bottom ...
Mad Dog Posted August 27, 2015 Author #3 Posted August 27, 2015 Looks to me like they are "clipped" in on top and bottom ... Yeah... it does. I'll give it a try when I get home from work unless I hear otherwise. I can just see those tabs breaking... Thanks for the reply
djh3 Posted August 27, 2015 #4 Posted August 27, 2015 Same lights I have replaced my side reflectors with it looks like. Small flat tip screwdriver. Lift the tab slightly and watch the clearance where it locks the assembly in. Just enough to get above the side of the yellow light is all you looking for. Once your there you should be able to get one side ot and the tab will stay slightly up. Then do the same on the other side.

Light turned out to be fine... I had a broken soldered connection upstream. Thanks!
djh3 Posted August 29, 2015 #6 Posted August 29, 2015 Cool beans. Glad you found the problem. I really like my "replacement" marker lights. I also wired in a resistor/diode set up so I can run them as running lights and turn signals.
