eagleeye Posted September 7, 2015 #26 Posted September 7, 2015 I'm not saying it's a nice peaceful ride through the countryside but I have been in far worse traffic. Where?
mirider Posted December 17, 2015 Author #27 Posted December 17, 2015 Speaking of da UP.......saw this and immediately thought of you @cowpuc
cowpuc Posted December 17, 2015 #28 Posted December 17, 2015 OUTSTANDING you lop eared varmint Mirider rascal!!! :dancefool: Just finished a really good homemade Turkey Pot Pie and actually told Tip that it made my mouth DRUEL for a good o Yooper Pasty = PERFECT TIMING DAVE:thumbsup: Gonna hafta score some of them critters next year when we all get up that way for a Greet - Meet n Eat Meat ol buddy!! Ok,, we never figured this out did we?,,, close your eyes,, picture you and Sue riding across the Big Mack on Big Mack,,, you get to the north side of the bridge and a take a left on "2" so you go thru that western part of Saint Ignas. You stay on 2 following along Lake Michigan - a few miles out of town you come to a small Road Side picnic area on a hill top on your left hand side, you go down the hill and there is a small stand alone Pasty Shop on your left.. BEST OF THE BEST:thumbsup: Only problem is they have no place to sit and eat so you gotta sit on the lawn to gobble it up
Flyinfool Posted December 17, 2015 #29 Posted December 17, 2015 Do they supply a crane to get some of us old farts back up off the lawn?
mirider Posted December 17, 2015 Author #30 Posted December 17, 2015 Puc - Most of the pasty shops close to St. Ignace are on the N. side of the road but Lehto's is out a few miles on the S. side, is small, and just past a rest stop.....could this be the one you're talking about
BratmanXj Posted December 17, 2015 #31 Posted December 17, 2015 I'm not saying it's a nice peaceful ride through the countryside but I have been in far worse traffic. Where? Live and commute through Chicago daily....its good and its bad when you know the rush hours and how to avoid it, but there's ALWAYS an alternate route. Now, last time I was in Muskegon we got delayed over 2 hrs by traffic (and a random boat with no trailer on the shoulder of 31???) and construction on Business 31.
mirider Posted December 17, 2015 Author #32 Posted December 17, 2015 @cowpuc - Found a google street view to go with pic in post #30 above. This has got to be the place you're thinking of ???
