The Tooch Posted August 25, 2015 #29 Posted August 25, 2015 Hopefully that wasn't the process you had to follow to get your trailer into Canada. How did that go Dave? Hey Don Easy Peasy.....filled in the forms payed my duty. Cause it turned out I was away 5 days as I had to wait for their office hours to declare the trailer on Monday and stayed down the extra day. It meant I could spend a higher amount out of the country because I was gone that long. So the duty was only $56. They didn't even come outside to look at it. I'm sure they saw it on all their security cameras and figured it wasn't big enough to bother going out to look at. Got to love the lazy bureaucratic mindset.
saddlebum Posted August 26, 2015 Author #30 Posted August 26, 2015 Now I am no math guy but shouldnt that ">MarcarlPuc you were close after closly studing the formula it turns out there was quite a string missing. Ben/=Pucs written word. I am thinking that string may have been left out deliberately. Easy Peasy.....filled in the forms payed my duty. On another note Tooch glad you got your trailer in W/O too much fuss. I too saw while waiting, A guy being led away with his hands behind him in hand cuffs, though not as entertaining as your affair, Its something I never saw before. The guy looked like a tall version of Carl except he was real quiet as they marched him inside.
saddlebum Posted August 26, 2015 Author #31 Posted August 26, 2015 Well checked out the bike yesterday and lets put it this way, I have a spare TCI but it wasn't that . I have a new spare Regulator, but it wasn't that . Lots of wire and connectors and tape, Was not a wiring issue either. . What I do not have is a spare stater and guess what. Stater is shorted to ground.
Marcarl Posted August 26, 2015 #32 Posted August 26, 2015 The guy looked like a tall version of Carl except he was real quiet as they marched him inside. Two things I take away from this statement,,,, first is, he must have been good looking,,, and second, he might have been spending time with you and just hadn't been able to get a word in edgewise.
