Guest oldman Posted April 4, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 4, 2008 I work for a paint store and we have a product called Magic Plastic Window Cleaner. It is made by Magic American Chemical Corp. Cleveland, Ohio. It is supposed to be anti-static and repel dust, and be anti-fog. I don't know about all those claims but I do know it is the best thing I have ever used to clean my windshield. The bugs just melt away. It does not harm any of the products windshields are made of. It can be purchased at many Lowe's and Sutherland's and Home Depot stores. Check it out on the web site for more locations. Oldman

Squidley Posted April 4, 2008 Share #3 Posted April 4, 2008 I have been using Plastex or Pledge, but I like the sounds of this as if it is anti-fog that would be a big help....I have to look for it

gunboat Posted April 4, 2008 Share #8 Posted April 4, 2008 hi all i would like to add that when i received my clearview sheild, john had said to use novis #2 to clean the shield with. but i took a chance and tested novis #1 on the new shield, and it works just fine so i use it instead of novis #2. the novis #1 its a plastic polish & cleaner. it also is antifog, antistatic and dust repellent for use on all plastic surfaces. novis #2 is a fine scratch remover, novis #3 is a heavy scratch remover. but #3 says its not recommeneded for coated plastics. i have the lite gray tent on my clearview shield so i won't use it. i have used it on my old windscreen. i am lucky to (borrow these products from wrok ). their # is 1-800-548-6872 to find the nearest distributor. just my 2 cents don

The can I have is a little different. Wonder if what I have is the old or newer product. I believe we sell it for $6 a can.
eagleeye Posted April 5, 2008 Share #10 Posted April 5, 2008 You can order a can on line for just over $. What I'd be interested in knowing how well it really does in the fog / drizzle. If it worked, I'd buy it for sure. Always did like seeing. Steve
MAINEAC Posted May 15, 2008 Share #11 Posted May 15, 2008 Ditto on the Plexus... It not only cleans the windshield but the whole bike... It leaves a shine that rivals the best waxes out there. Plastic, metal, chrome, vinyl, leather....
hale374 Posted May 15, 2008 Share #12 Posted May 15, 2008 I use Ace It polish. Great stuff and repels fingerprints as well. This stuff is great. You can use it on the whole bike. If you get it on the black fins on the motor, just wipe it off, no white residue. Here's the site. http://www.seeitshine.com/

geresti Posted May 16, 2008 Share #14 Posted May 16, 2008 When I travel with my bike I always keep a small cloth and wet it and use that to loosen things up on the windsheild then use a microfiber towel to wipe it off and that cleans as good as anything and you only pay for the microfiber cloth and just keep it clean and it works great on the whole bike especially chrome. No need for any cleaners or waxes. I keep one in all of my vehicles for inside windows and cleaning the dash since dust clings to the fibers. Try it!
