seabeetom Posted August 15, 2015 #1 Posted August 15, 2015 (edited) Was doing some maintenance on the Trike yesterday and noticed 3 bolts missing and the fourth one hanging in there by a thread. Never noticed before, but then again, haven't looked at this spot for awhile. Better make sure this is on your pre start inspection list... Edited August 15, 2015 by seabeetom

ragtop69gs Posted August 16, 2015 #4 Posted August 16, 2015 The lower clamp bolts are exposed, it's the upper one's that require a lot of work to inspect. While you're inspecting, be sure to check the torx bolts that attach the driveshaft to the rear end, they are known to loosen and fall out.
seabeetom Posted August 25, 2015 Author #5 Posted August 25, 2015 When I found these bolts missing I also wondered but Not sure, but I think there's supposed to be some kinda rubber dampers between the bars/risers and the fairing. Any input on that. If they're supposed to be, they ain't. !!! LEAVE OUR FLAG ALONE !!!
ragtop69gs Posted August 25, 2015 #6 Posted August 25, 2015 If you have aftermarket risers that are longer they could be missing unless someone modified them to use the dampers that are supposed to be there.
