Wiring the Mr. Gasket

Good morning,

Progressing nicely with my fuel pump replacement. My question is how to go about wiring the Mr Gasket pump?

Do you cut and splice to re-use the original molex plug?

Cut and splice further back removing the molex plug?

Solder? Wirenuts? crimp?

or am I missing the obvious here (which is one of my specialties)

I just cut the OEM plug off a couple inches back in case I ever wanted to go back to OEM and soldered the wires to the Mr. Gasket. Solder-less connections work just fine too, NO wire nuts,

I cut the plug off the old and soldered it to the new pump.
