DragonRider Posted August 6, 2015 Author #30 Posted August 6, 2015 Its never too late to attend. The Seasons Inn and the Best Western in Blairsville are where a lot of people are staying, you might be able to find a cabin at the park. etcswjoe Posted August 7, 2015 #32 Posted August 7, 2015 Still 200 miles for me! ..and Skid said it was getting closer.
TDunc Posted August 7, 2015 #33 Posted August 7, 2015 woooo hoooo..... not far away.... already starting to pack. Taging Skid in Hickory so I'll be in on Wednesday too. Looking forward to my first Vogel.
frankd Posted August 7, 2015 #35 Posted August 7, 2015 Heck, the trip to Vogel IS getting shorter. Two years ago it was 670 miles, and now its wilted away to 170. The bike will hardly get warmed up this year.
Skid Posted August 7, 2015 #36 Posted August 7, 2015 I guess I should start packing soon. Oh yeah I got to wash the bike first
DragonRider Posted August 7, 2015 Author #37 Posted August 7, 2015 Do you think anybody will notice that it was washed by the time you get to Vogel............
etcswjoe Posted August 7, 2015 #38 Posted August 7, 2015 Do you think anybody will notice that it was washed by the time you get to Vogel............ I would bet it will be spotless when he pulls in.
Skid Posted August 8, 2015 #39 Posted August 8, 2015 Probably because I will clean it before I pull on. I want to make a good first impression
Yammer Dan Posted August 8, 2015 #40 Posted August 8, 2015 Yeah it won't run fast enough to get dirty...
Yammer Dan Posted August 8, 2015 #42 Posted August 8, 2015 At least mine still running... I could roll it out right now. Just cain't pull hard enough to hook Larry's bar back up. It would go without that and just needing a passing light housing. Hate to have to buy a set of those things to get one. Gonna miss that trip with ya. I don't think I'm ready to ride yet but listen for them Bubs in your driveway in a couple weeks . The Warden cain't watch me all the time. I need a ride.
Skid Posted August 8, 2015 #43 Posted August 8, 2015 I wish you could make it too. You better just follow doctor's orders for now. You'll be back in the saddle soon enough.
DragonRider Posted August 8, 2015 Author #44 Posted August 8, 2015 Your first impression to most Vogel goers was made in 2005, and thats the guy we remember on a beautiful 1st Gen called Brown Sugar!!!
Yammer Dan Posted August 8, 2015 #46 Posted August 8, 2015 She was a beauty back then And??? And still faster than yours:Avatars_Gee_George:
etcswjoe Posted August 8, 2015 #47 Posted August 8, 2015 Heck, the trip to Vogel IS getting shorter. Two years ago it was 670 miles, and now its wilted away to 170. The bike will hardly get warmed up this year. Guess Skid was right after all. it is getting closer.
Skid Posted August 8, 2015 #48 Posted August 8, 2015 Guess Skid was right after all. it is getting closer. Wished I only had 170 miles. But then I wouldn't have as much awesome ride to getting there
DragonRider Posted August 9, 2015 Author #49 Posted August 9, 2015 I am only 155 miles, but I think there are a couple much closer to Vogel than me, Randyr is very very close like 25 or less and Atlanta Dragonslayer is a little further. I am getting impatient, have a couple of things to do to the bike, I just installed some LED driving lights last nite and they are bright, but in doing so something happen to the power port so today I have to change it out for a new one that I just happen to have and all will be right. Only 3 days to go...............:clap2: Wished I only had 170 miles. But then I wouldn't have as much awesome ride to getting there
Yammer Dan Posted August 10, 2015 #50 Posted August 10, 2015 Got bar hooked up. Now all that is left is the driving light and the left signal light burns all the time? Signals work as they should but the left one burns like a marker light? Does this mean right bulb is bad?
