Remove the eyebrows....
@Condor Thanks for the suggestion Jack. Will you please elaborate about your personal experience removing the eyebrows. I don't have a problem removing them but if I'm going to have to deal with a color difference between the paint under the eyebrows and the rest of the fairing, I want to know that this is going to work.

Thanks.

I doubt there'll be a color difference but they're only held on with double stick tape so it'd be easy to put them back on. Either Clearview or F-4 windshields with the vent is the best way to go. I've had both brands at one time or other and preferred the F-4.

The only color that might show a color variation is red. Grab the wife's hair dryer, warm them up, and use 15-20# monofilament fishing line to pull between the fairing and the brows to take them off. Any residue can be removed with Pledge and a micro towel.

Couldn't stand looking through a windshield except for low speed maneuvers. My winter shield is set 1" below my eye line so I see way ahead over the top and the weather goes over the top of my helmet, can ride at highway speed in bad weather without helmet visor down or just RayBans. Dark smoke summer shield is 2" shorter again. The lower shield height also prevents eddy currents with rain being dragged behind the shield.
