Zzyzx Posted July 28, 2015 #1 Posted July 28, 2015 Had a great time meeting and riding with everyone at the International Rally. My first venture with the VentureRider group and except for the over abundance of HEAT getting across Kansas the ride there and around the St Chuck area was good. Thanks to the Eykamp's for getting the rides moving and to everyone that made the event fun. Looking forward to next years event. Now in Knoxville TN until Friday then heading north to Wisconsin then across to Sturgis and up to Red Lodge and beyond. Should be home around the 12th of August or there abouts. Will post pictures when I get home. Ride Safe Y'ALL!
XV1100SE Posted July 28, 2015 #2 Posted July 28, 2015 Have a safe trip ! If you are going across the Bear Tooth...be prepared to dress warm. When we went two years ago in August at the 12,000 ft level you are above the snow line and it was near freezing.

If your in the Sturgis area on the 3rd, stop at the Yamaha Shop in Sturgis at 1 p.m. and say howdy - would LOVE to shake you hand!! Also, a bunch of us are riding going to successfully complete the "Pie Butt 26.2" and will be meeting at a place called the Blue Line Diner in Newell S.D., same date = 3rd, at 6 p.m. for some pie.
