Wayne O Posted April 3, 2008 Author #3 Posted April 3, 2008 1Rooster, we may be over this saturday looking at campgrounds. Will be in the plastic car,,SATURN. Where is Roosterville any way? Deepcreek sounds cool could watch the tubes go by. Never have liked making reservations from the net, seems like the pictures are never of the place your checking on.
wolfman1 Posted April 3, 2008 #4 Posted April 3, 2008 Kickstand Lodge is a good biker campground.Don't know if it real close to wher your're going. There's also one at Deals Gap on the Tail of the Dragon between Cherokee and Bryson Steve
Long Tall Posted April 3, 2008 #5 Posted April 3, 2008 Hey just looking for input on where to camp near Bryson City or Cherokee NC. Thanks for any input or suggestions. Was looking at Ela Campground but haven't found any feedback about them. This place is Great...Closer to Deals Gap than Bryson City, but a real motorcycle lodge...Nice folks also...we were there last year for 5 days...We did the cabin thing, but I talked to a few who were doing the camp thing...most had been there more than once... http://www.ironhorsenc.com George in Virginia
Venturous Randy Posted April 3, 2008 #6 Posted April 3, 2008 Hey Wayne, Laura and I like to camp at Bradley campground on the Gatlinburg side of Cherokee. It is good to get the bike in and out of and has nice clean hot showers if you are tent camping. The prices per night are a lot less than the KOA campgrounds. You can also catch it to be able to camp within a few feet of the river and they will take reservations. I don't have their number handy, but you can do a search. RandyA
