86er Posted April 2, 2008 #7 Posted April 2, 2008 Helmet didn't seem to help much, except to make a little nicer corpse.

Guest tx2sturgis Posted April 2, 2008 #11 Posted April 2, 2008 Note to self: When riding at 120 mph slamming into the back of a semi, wear helmet. Wait...I dont ride 120 and run into semis.
BOO Posted April 2, 2008 #12 Posted April 2, 2008 Those pictures been around for a while and he didn't make it, rest of the story is true. I think if you go to the snopes or whatever it is web site, it has the facts. Jerry
flb_78 Posted April 2, 2008 #13 Posted April 2, 2008 Yep, that kid is dead. Broke his neck. I really don't think anyone would have stopped helping the kid to take a so many pictures of him if he was still alive.
CrazyHorse Posted April 2, 2008 #14 Posted April 2, 2008 Yes he's dead look at his body. Emergency services aren't going to sit there next to him and take pictures if he's alive.

Yeah but look!! His head is in such GOOD shape!! My point is of course, the best safety equipment you have is the 3.5 pound one INSIDE your head.
BradT Posted April 2, 2008 #17 Posted April 2, 2008 My point is of course, the best safety equipment you have is the 3.5 pound one INSIDE your head. Good Point and so very True. BRad
Snarley Bill Posted April 2, 2008 #18 Posted April 2, 2008 there has been some thoughts that the photos were staged .some of the details don't make sense if you do some detective work on the photos.
Jethroish Posted April 2, 2008 #19 Posted April 2, 2008 there has been some thoughts that the photos were staged .some of the details don't make sense if you do some detective work on the photos. Not sure about these pics, but this really did happen about a year ago. I remember seeing it on the news. It was on hwy 169 at 81st street SE of Tulsa.
MAINEAC Posted April 2, 2008 #20 Posted April 2, 2008 Origins: The fatal accident depicted above took place on U.S. 169 near Tulsa, Oklahoma, during the early morning hours of 17 April 2007. The motorcyclist, 26-year-old Brandon Lee White of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, was traveling at an estimated 120+ mph when his motorcycle struck the back of a tractor-trailer rig. According to the Tulsa World: Police said the truck driver reported hearing a bump and then seeing debris from the motorcycle going past him. When he managed to pull over, he saw that a man was embedded in the back of his trailer. White was dead at the scene. http://www.snopes.com/photos/accident/tulsacrash.asp Maybe you should rename the thread "DON'T RIDE 120 MPH INTO A TRUCK"
buddy Posted April 2, 2008 #21 Posted April 2, 2008 Being a mechanic for the police department I see all sorts of weird stuff and photos I wish I haven't seen..... NO this kid did not make it..... buddy
CrazyHorse Posted April 2, 2008 #22 Posted April 2, 2008 there has been some thoughts that the photos were staged .some of the details don't make sense if you do some detective work on the photos. He's hanging by his neck his feet are bent so the top is touching the ground and if you look close scraped skin off the feet and deposited on the ground his shoes are missing either from impact (fairly common) or being dragged off by a moving truck.
Mariner Fan Posted April 2, 2008 #23 Posted April 2, 2008 Geez, the kid just attended a funeral for his friend who was killed on his bike doing crazy speeds. Guess he wasn't smart enough to learn from that. A definite Darwin award candidate!
ventureblue Posted April 2, 2008 #24 Posted April 2, 2008 Note to self: When riding at 120 mph slamming into the back of a semi, wear helmet. Wait...I dont ride 120 and run into semis. my thoughts exactly. I dont even ride 100mph
