bobcat Posted April 1, 2008 #1 Posted April 1, 2008 My present rotor is warped so I'm looking for a good unwarped rear rotor for my 86VR...If you have one for sale let me know ASAP....thanks Bob Martorana email bobcat04@earthlink.net Reno, Nv
Guest Bigin Posted April 2, 2008 #3 Posted April 2, 2008 Just replaced my warped rear rotor on my 89. After 2 Ebay purchases, both unusable my my standards with cracks in them, I finally bought a new one for around 220.00. You can search the internet for EMC MD 2049 for a new one. If you have the time and patience and communicate with the sellers about accurately inspecting and describing the rotors condition, which I was unable to do, they just didnt respond, then you may get one that is usable, Im sure they are out there. Another note: sometimes air in the linked brake system can cause a warped rotor feel. It feels like a ABS that needs service. I would visually determine the rotor has issues if you have not yet done so, may save you some trouble and cost. Thats all I know about rotors. Good Luck with it.
bobcat Posted April 4, 2008 Author #4 Posted April 4, 2008 Thanks for the reply Bigin.....I'll try bleeding he rear and left front brake. What the H, it doesn't cost anyhing to give it a try..
