Thats a good Missouri boy leading them. If that piece of crap from Duke (Quinn Snyder) hadn't been the Missouri coach we might have got him. I used to think Coach K at Duke ran a clean program but after seeing how Snyder did things I have to wonder where he learned the crooked stuff.

Kansas is lucky to be there. It could have just as easily have been Davidson and the Tarheels, although it is not. That was the best game with Kansas I have seen in a long time. I was hoping to see Davidson College beat North Carolina. Not that I am not a Carolina fan, I just had so much respect for what Davidson College accomplished this year. What a run for a 10th ranked team, from a small town with a population of 9,000 and less than 1,500 students. Oh well, now I am backing to pulling for North Carolina. Go Tarheels! But I will give the Jayhawks their credit, they pulled off a good win, 59-57 over Davidson. Looks like another good game coming up. Sorry about your Texans. I was hoping they would beat Memphis and get them out of they way. Memphis could go all the way. Four #1 seeds. Wow.

Either team could beat the other on any given day. But Saturday will belong to the Heels. I am willing to bet a lunch in Williamsburg on the 12th.

So I guess the carb tune is out until after the Va M&E, unless you are bringing your carb tune along. If so, maybe we can do it that Sat evening at RiderDukes. Now as far as the games go, I'll call you Thursday or Friday to work the time out.

Usually a team getting to F4 always has one bad game. Memphis and UCLA both could have been out the weekend prior. NC just had home court advantage, but now they will be playing in B12 country.

 

Position by position NC has the 1 PF and very good PG. KU can run 5 post players against TH and wear him down. KU will most likely switch guards against Lawson just like they did against the Davidson player. You also have to remember KU broke the 100 point barrier this year on shooting the 2. This is same group that took out Florida last year on a neutral court.

 

So bring on the games. :cool10:

 

Oh yeah, one more thing in NC favor, Oklahoma State maybe pulling a NC stunt like they did with Roy Williams during KU's last F4 appearance. This story has broke since yesterday.

My hat is off to the Jayhawks! They came to play ball. I hope they play like that Monday against Memphis. Carolina played like they showed up drunk, but I am not taking anything away from the great performance of the Jayhawks. At the Williamsburg meet, Sleeperhawk's Mechanic will have what ever she wants for lunch. I will eat crow.
