Stealthblade Posted June 27, 2015 #1 Posted June 27, 2015 I am having a problem that might come down to... I just don't get it. I need to replace my shifter seal. I have the middle gear cover off. It seems that I need to remove the linkage that clamps onto the shifter rod, but the front header pipe is in the way. Do I need to take that off to get everything out of the way? If so, how the heck do you get the front pipe off the engine without taking off the radiator? I'm a bit frustrated right now with this, so maybe I'm not thinking clearly. Suggestions? Bob
Stealthblade Posted June 30, 2015 Author #3 Posted June 30, 2015 I ended up draining the radiator, pulling it to the side, loosened the header pipe so it would swing far enough away. Long day, but got it done. Maybe I can actually ride this thing now. Bob
