flanders bars

Have any of you changed your bars to 650-08763 and is there a bar that comes in closer and farther back. Having shoulder problems again and have to do something. Don't want to quit riding. Cant afford to buy wrong bars either. I get one shot at this. Don't want to gamble. Shoot wanted to put this in second gen forum how do I do that.

rod, I have a set of flanders on the wall in the garage, take them and try them, if ya like em, buy em, if ya don't? then hang em back on the wall.

Throttle cables should be OK, just give them a yank yo gain a little slack. The worst thing that can happen is the engine will rev up when the handlebars are full turned to the right against the locks. If you use the barons risers with the flanders bar you will need longer cables...

For those that can't afford braided lines, the stock RSTD cables will give you the extra length to stop the binding on a RSV.

+1 on ragtop69gs reply, the RSTD cables will give you an extra 2 or 3" of length.
