DblTrbl Posted June 21, 2015 #1 Posted June 21, 2015 This morning went to replace my Timing Cover with a Baron's V4 cover. When I popped the Yamaha cover off, a spacer of some sorts flew off with the cover. The spacer is flat on one side and has a small lip on one side on the inner whole. It I didn't see HOW it was in there to start with and couldn't determine it by looking at the old cover. It seams to fit either way but I'm sure it's supposed to go one way only. Can someone tell me the proper orientation of this piece? Ironic that it is the timing cover since time is critical as I leave for a trip on the trike in 48hrs..... Thanks for any input!!
etcswjoe Posted June 21, 2015 #4 Posted June 21, 2015 I had to ask myself awhile back, parts list shows it as flat.
DblTrbl Posted June 22, 2015 Author #5 Posted June 22, 2015 I had to ask myself awhile back, parts list shows it as flat. Parts list shows it being flat but on the inside diameter there is a lip on one side. I put in back with the lip on the inside and the flat to the outside. Just hope it's correct so I dont' have issues while traveling. The good news is, it only takes a screwdriver to correct it!!
