Yama Mama Posted June 20, 2015 #1 Posted June 20, 2015 Just wanted to wish all you Daddies a happy Father's day! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and get to take a nice enjoyable ride somewhere near or even better far. It takes a special man to be a Father. I was lucky in that way. My Father worked hard all his life, and never ever complained about it. He just did what he had to do to take care of my Mother and me. Thanks Dad, you are always in my heart. Yama Mama
b2dad Posted June 20, 2015 #2 Posted June 20, 2015 That is sweet Peggy. My father was the same way. Worked hard and yet always had time for his wife and kids. There are 6 of us kids. He and mom always made us feel special and always had time for us. Dad was always involved in our school activities and took us places in the summer. I miss him.

Mine passed almost 8 years ago and I still miss him every day. Thanks for the post.
Flyinfool Posted June 21, 2015 #4 Posted June 21, 2015 Fortunately my Father is still around. I am really hoping to be able to get out of the house to be able see him today.
Huggy Posted June 21, 2015 #5 Posted June 21, 2015 Family always comes first. I pity those who put there jobs ahead of their families. Money can never buy what you missed and you can never make up for it.
eagleeye Posted June 21, 2015 #6 Posted June 21, 2015 That was nice Mama. My dad will be 91 in a couple of weeks so some of us/his crew are going to go over to his place today and eat his food and drink his beer. Thanks dad
cowpuc Posted June 21, 2015 #7 Posted June 21, 2015 Thanks for the post Mama!! Lost my Dad last fall and miss him everyday but just like you, he is always in my heart (and in my :witch_brew:ing ways - that Pop of mine was a prankster!!)..
Yammer Dan Posted June 21, 2015 #8 Posted June 21, 2015 Lost mine a few yrs ago but he still talks to me.
Wrench Posted June 22, 2015 #10 Posted June 22, 2015 It was a good day. Got out for a ride, sorry to say it was the first one of the year, but, it was still good anyway.
djh3 Posted June 22, 2015 #11 Posted June 22, 2015 Spent the day with my son. Picked him up @ 630 am and we drove up to Daytona to see a Global Rally Cross race. Took the truck because I knew it was going to be over 100 deg heat index, (final read when we were leaving was 108) We had a good time and enjoyed it. Its good to spend time with him now even though he is grown and go his own kiddos. But those are for my wife I think.
