M61A1MECH Posted June 20, 2015 #1 Posted June 20, 2015 I have had a request to make an adapter that will plug into the headlight connecter, so the wiring can be extended to facilite the install of a different headlight. The owner does not want to tap into or cut off the existing wiring, he wants to extend it. I can supply all of that easy enough , but thought it would be nice to use the correct colored wires, green, yellow and black, in the correct locations. I do not have a Venture any more so I cannot just go to the garage and look, so I was hoping someone would have a photo showing the correct placement for each color. If not I will have the requestor check for me, before I build the unit. Thanks for any help.

Oops, guess you know that. Didn't read the title about a pic.

Hey thanks Eck, I had found hose same photos, late last night or more corectly very early this morning, and was convinced they did not give what I needed, but I am glad you posted them again because looking at the first one, 'i can can just barely make out the black wire in the lower left, so that was one of the the pieces of the puzzle I was needing. The second photo I could not tell for sure if the connector had been rotated after being taken off, now I can tell it was just lifted straight off.
Eck Posted June 20, 2015 #5 Posted June 20, 2015 .................The second photo I could not tell for sure if the connector had been rotated after being taken off, now I can tell it was just lifted straight off. You can tell that the connector was pulled straight off. The ground (green wire) ALWAYS goes to the center tab (which is turned opposite of the other two tabs) as seen in photo# 1925
djh3 Posted June 21, 2015 #6 Posted June 21, 2015 Steve, let me know if you need anything. So far I still have mine. LOL
