Radio wont switch from head phones to speakers

I just had my fuel tank, seat and saddle bags off the bike, put it back on, now my radio seems to be working but i cannot get it from head phones back to speakers.

I hit the select button and normaly the hp comes on in the display ,and i just move the arrow keys to shift it back to sp. select button seems to do nothing now, any idea's before i take it back apart and start looking. Thanks

If you didnt have any of the comm wires apart, I think maybe your just a victom of circumstance. I would look towards the controler having some corroded switches. I think its all sealed up and you will have to take apart to shoot some contact cleaner in there.

I would check all the connections in the areas you were fiddling around if that not it try disconnecting the battery cable then turn the ignition key on for a few seconds then back off so it drains any stored energy in the electronics , this works on some things but it's worth a try.
