Skid Posted June 15, 2015 #1 Posted June 15, 2015 I saw this on another WV site. The Dragon doesn't have anything on West Virginia. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06/14/0285b2f762a7570948c5b1b3451522ea.jpg
Eck Posted June 15, 2015 #2 Posted June 15, 2015 Skid, I agree with you on this one buddy. I ride "past" North Carolina every year just to get to West Virginia so my best friend and I can ride some fantastic roads.
etcswjoe Posted June 15, 2015 #3 Posted June 15, 2015 Just make sure to stay away from the shiners and banjo players.
Motiv Posted June 15, 2015 #5 Posted June 15, 2015 We rode through WV back roads coming back from the dragon and it was way more enjoyable for way longer.
Squidley Posted June 15, 2015 #6 Posted June 15, 2015 I agree with the roads other that they really need better upkeep of them. Bounce like hell on some of them roads.
Eck Posted June 15, 2015 #7 Posted June 15, 2015 I agree with the roads other that they really need better upkeep of them. Bounce like hell on some of them roads. Any road that lives through the winter elements needs to be kept up, I would have to say. I've seen some nasty pot holes in NC, TN, KY, OH, PA, even here in AL.. heck they all have some bad roads (because the state says there is no (tax) money to repair them), but yet I have seen many a great road in all of them too.
jimmy99 Posted June 16, 2015 #8 Posted June 16, 2015 WV is my favourite place to ride a motorcycle. I am supposed to go there on a bike trip in July, but it is looking like I will not be able to afford the time off from work due to some financial setbacks. I am very sad that I might not be able to go.
slowrollwv Posted June 16, 2015 #9 Posted June 16, 2015 Skid where is the other two straights? I have only found 9 of them.
