Who has installed wind deflectors on a batwing style fairing, it is aftermarket, I do not know what brand? I purchased Memphis shades brand deflectors and the mounting holes to not line with the fairing holes. Am I supposed to drill new holes? Really don't want to do that, any guidance would be appreciated.

I love this bike!!!

I installed a Memphis Shades fairing and the wind deflectors on my '99 Royal Star Tour Classic. Since both fairing and deflectors were from the same company there was not a fitment issue. I really like the looks of the deflectors and they work well. Look on the MS website and see where the deflectors mount, drill the holes and enjoy!

My Memphis shade deflectors use a separate mount to connect to each fork - not to the fairing (this is on a different bike than my venture, so don't look at the sig pic). Each plate has two holes which are held by two screws and machined parts which are part of the fork tube mount. Placement relative to the batwing fairing is up to you. In my case, the lowers really helped to raise the airflow and prevent buffeting. Hope this helps.
