Silverado6x6 Posted June 7, 2015 #15 Posted June 7, 2015 My local Yamaha shop is selling only models from the Star 1300 Custom with the bat fairing on down, no Roadliners, Strats, Raiders or RSTD bikes. New bike sales are stagnant. Too much social uncertainty. Even i am passing up local used bikes for sale, at last count i still have 18 motorcycles. I am just not feeling any positive vibe to buy a new bike.
cruiserlover Posted June 9, 2015 #16 Posted June 9, 2015 18? I must ask, why so many, you can only ride one at a time.
SilvrT Posted June 9, 2015 #17 Posted June 9, 2015 18? I must ask, why so many, you can only ride one at a time. They're all parts bikes to keep his 1st gen's running

bamico Posted June 27, 2015 #19 Posted June 27, 2015 I talked with Yamaha reps at both Americade and Laconia earier this month. If anyone knows about a Touring option coming that includes the trunk, they're not saying. I had one Yamaha rep at Americade tell me she'd love to have an answer as she spent most of the day answering the same question. I guess we'll have to wait till fall to see what happens. Would be nice if Yamaha came out with an option... Bob
